wow these pics are cool and teachin me a little bit about hong kong and making me want to go there too. wish i could.
by the way, whats up with that thing in pink????
great photos. looked like a good year.
Eug you have a great eye and those are some stellar pics. How are you gonna top it in ‘10?
The pink suit is none other than The Pink Amigo haha.
Thanks JP… I think the overall trend was that traveling is helpful in finding and discovering new shit across the board. Both from a new landscape perspective, but also from a personal development perspective.
great stuff, awesome pics!
all the great cities u visited definitely made me jealous! hah, cool that singapore got to represent too!!
which camera do use btw?
Yeh traveling was pretty fun this year.
Most of the shots are a Canon 50D with a Sigma 30mm f1.4. Pretty much my everyday set-up, but since I got a Canon S90 I sometimes bring both and switched out the Sigma 30 for just a cheap Canon 50mm f1.8. I might invest in some decent glass if/when I go full-frame but it’s not really a priority right now.
Awesome pics man. You must take an enormous amount of photos though. How on earth did you manage to filter it down to 8 pages of pics?
It wasn’t that bad, cause I keep my shit super organized in Lightroom and have ratings for them. It’s out of 5 stars but usually I just mark it either 3 stars through 5 stars. I just picked what I thought were 4 stars or higher.
like that black and white chinatown pic. seems like it could be from any era.
Yeah, I really like the Chinatown shots too, and not just because of the “Where’s Waldo?” moment I had when I spotted Papa Kan in one of them (that is him, right?). This site’s off to a good start..
Oh yeh, that’s Papa Kan alright haha… the hair is hard to miss.
I’m down with that Jordan, Hong Kong picture, I love how rugged/clean the buildings can be: appendages protruding out of everything haha!
